The Parish Confirmation Service takes place on Sunday July 12th at 11am. Bishop Mark will preside, and will confirm our candidates.
This year we are presenting 8 children and 2 adults for confirmation. The number of children is smaller than in recent years. This is because we are only preparing and presenting children who are regular attenders – and can expect to continue attending!
We would have liked to have more adults, but although several more did express interest they haven’t actually committed – perhaps next year?
The confirmation service is a joyful parish occasion, and it would be good to see as many as possible in church to join our celebration and support these Christians on the next step of their journey in faith.
