Mid-week Joy 2nd December

 Mid-week Joy

Our churches are open for public worship again! St Thomas' will open from Sunday 6th December, and St Agnes' from Wednesday 9th December. There will still be lots of restrictions of course, and because we're in Tier 3 we won't be allowed to "mingle" with people from other households, but we're still really happy to be able to worship in church again.

If you're not ready to join us for our services just yet, St Thomas' will be open for private prayer every Thursday from 10 - 11 am. You'll also find everything you need to worship at home here on this page each Sunday.

Tomorrow's Worship for all Generations can be found on our facebook page from 6.30 pm, just click here - Leesfield Parish

Welcome to December, and we're really pleased to share another calendar from "Action for Happiness". The calendar is packed with kind and encouraging daily activities for all the family - enjoy!

Chrissie has now set off around the parish delivering Posada bookmarks to all of the homes which would usually take in the wooden figures of Mary and Joseph during Advent.

Not to be outdone, the Sunday schools are doing Posada in their own brilliant way. Each family will choose a day to invite Mary and Joseph into their homes, colour in a picture, and display it in their window. The photo here is Annie's picture for the 1st December. Please do watch out for the pictures whilst you're out and about.

Another regular feature of the Advent period for our Sunday school children is the annual Christingle service. Like so many other things this year it will have to be done a little differently, and it will be by Zoom instead of in church. We are hoping to have some pictures for you next week, but in the meantime here's a Christingle song to cheer you up -
