This afternoon, 6th November, there is a Churches together
service at Springhead Congregational
Church at 3pm. Title is
For all the Saints. We will sing hymns, listen to some short talks and pray
about 3 of the well-known saints. See poster in church for details.
Do come along and support if you can.
Standing committee meets in the vicarage at 7pm on Monday (7th)
Next Sunday, 13th November is Remembrance Sunday. There will be service at St Thomas’ at 9.15am. Then
we walk with the band down to the cemetery for our outdoor Churches Together
service. No service at St Agnes.
Then on 20th November we have our parish Service at St Hugh’s –celebrating the feast of Christ the
King and the 60th anniversary of the church of St Hugh. Again, no
service at St Agnes. Please do come along and join us in this important event.
Parish trip to York Christmas
market will be on Saturday 19th November. Leave at 9am, returning
4.30pm. The cost is £15. Please Let Audrey, Roy or Vera Howarth know if you
want to go.
