Today is the final day for returning your “Play your Part” response forms, so if you still have them please do bring them back. It’s really important that we hear from you with all your ideas of how you can help to secure the future of our churches.

Christian Aid Week begins on Sunday 12th May, and we will again be collecting from house to house in Lees, as well as having envelopes available in both churches for your donations to support the valuable work of this global charity.

On Thursday 16th May there will be a Big Brekkie at St Thomas’ for Christian Aid from 9 to 11 am. Please come along and join us for bacon butties or beans on toast to help us with our fundraising, and to learn more about the work of Christian Aid.

If you are able to help with either the collecting or Big Brekkie please see Paul or Liz Dent.

Please could any adults, or children from year 6 upwards, who feel this is the time to take the next step in their Christian journey of Confirmation please see Edith by the end of May at the latest. The Confirmation service with Bishop Mark will be on Sunday 7th July, 11 am at St Thomas’ Church.

Everyone is most welcome to join the Ladies of Leesfield next Saturday morning, the 18th May, for Tea & Toast in St Thomas’ Community Room from 10.30 am until noon. Tickets are £3 each, and include a raffle.

The crowning of our new Rose Queen, Freya Mills, will be at St Agnes’ Church on Saturday 18th May at 2 pm.

Freya and her retinue would love to see you there to support them for the coming year, and to thank the retiring Rose Queen Ella and her retinue for all their efforts during the past year.

There will be stalls, activities and refreshments in the school hall and outside, including a barbeque if the weather permits. Family tickets are priced at just £2.50, and include entry into a raffle with lots of brilliant prizes which have been generously donated by individuals and local businesses.
